I am wanting to go into affiliate marketing but not sure how or where to start off. Is there anyone who can give me advice who have been successful and tell what I need to do in this area. I hear there a lot of people making money out of this and I want to try and start this out. Please can you tell me what requirements or steps I need to do to succeed within this area.

Thanks Please PM me if you can help me.

id you have enough cash buy a lot of vouchers and start promoting via adwords once you get a hold of things use the money you are making to invest more on ppc
ppc is the best for aff marketing if you really want to make good money

Not true. Bum/Article marketing can be just as good. I like to personally drive all of the PPCers out of business on my long-tails by taking the whole page with my results, and forcing them to raise their CPCs until they stop. Or lowering their QS until they stop promoting.

MoreNiche offers $15 on signup, $10 on setting up your website, $10 for sending 100 unique visitors and another $10 for interacting on their forum.

That's an easy $45. They have tons of products to promote. You can promote them by creating landing pages, blogs, websites, social bookmarking sites, mailing lists, signature links on forums and even offline advertising.

The list is endless. I do promotion on Yahoo! Answers and manage to get few sales.

I've been getting good reviews from multi-millionaires. Well, one, but hey, no complaints.

So no, I don't particularly care. If he wants to learn something that doesn't look at stupid as this:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1315330

Which is about half of DigitalPoint, he'll visit. If not, he can go ahead and rank for "achievable 800K keyword goals" until he has a nosebleed :)

    PS:

And those are just morning stats. And I launched this about 50 hours ago.. So.. Yeah, I think people like it. Or at least I know how to market. Both good reasons :)

Yes..but I would caution to keep in mind that larger affiliate programs like Amazon are beginning to ban PCP advertising of their products. If you use Adwords to promote Amazon they won't credit you.

    Hi albag999,
The easiest way to begin is to find your niche markets. High demand and low supply will be your niche market. Research keywords in your market, and choose those with a large amount of searches and less websites supplying them. You will build a website around the market and join related affiliate programs. Then you drive traffic to your website.
    Good Luck;)

I used a Kasmail disposable email to sign up for the 'course'. I'll let you guys know if he spams me. Now lets see what he sent....it came in .PDF format as an email attachment..that's a no-no. Opened it anyway via Google docs. Ok..I'm half way through part one and it seems harmless enough. No sales pitch yet and the guy does make some good points. There's probly a sales pitch somewhere down the road though (there always is). Oh, and this hype about "a million in two years", I mean really, come on.

There's no sales pitch. It's not the point of the course. Stick around affiliate marketing for a few years, you'll figure it out. The first lesson is really basic stuff, the main use is to motivate. Once you go over the other 3 within the week, you'll enjoy it.

The PDF? Because it's much easier for me to have aweber host, than any private storage.

Oh, and the course is free on several forums, all zipped up. The material is freely-redistributed as long as it's not altered.

Don't forget to praise the course when I don't spam you :) I'm not some Indian trying to make a thousand or two a month to get by.
