Need: Text To Speech - TTS - Multilanguage PHP function - Cheapest price please.

Hi,

I need a php function to transform Text To Speech.


It must be simple install by ftp.

If you know how to work with TTS using PHP pm me.

What I need is a function working on my server like this:

text2speech($myText, $myLanguage, $MaleOrFemale, $myOutputFolder, $myOutputType);

I need this to be really cheap service. I'm in really low budget here. I only need the class/function I don't need any visual gui. So this should be very cheap. You could send me a zip file containing folders that I upload to my server and install by ftp.

I can give you some directions if you need bu I really want experienced TTS PHP Developers on this. So it should be quick and cheap service.

Well, Every TTS needs a voice engine to work as a middleware between hardware and code . This voice engine will be needed to install on a VPS or a Dedi server.

 

that's right, I've already coded an php script which works fine with the TTS engine, but there are many limits, one convert at a time, and takes up many CPU.
If someone can solve these problems, I would buy a copy too.

Using what? Festival? FreeTTS needs VPS too??

FreeTTS and Festival both need VPS.

IMO, It's not possible technically to serve text data to speech synthesis engine without installing dedicated software on the machine.

However , You don't require a win box for it. It can be done through a nix box too

Maybe you better use a windows box, using a custom CGI application.
By this way i can do it. Its not exactly cheap, but is not that much consuming CPU by this way.
But low budget is not going to drive you to get something as good as you are asking for.
PM me with details if you are interested and if you can increase your budget.

 

I got some tutorials using Microsfot TTS just runing a comand line or something. But I don´t like Windows Servers, or even computers.

Anyway, this should be simple task using freeTTS or Festival or other opensource script...

Its not a simple task, not using freeTTS or Festival, not using Microsoft windows, its not something that one can do after reading some tutorial.
What i mention about the command line is developing one, not that an already existing one can be called from command line following some tutorial.

freeTTS is java.

Maybe you need better try in rentacoder dot com, it is a much specific task.
