should i use keywords in title? how many? as i have seen many sites achive good ranking by using keywords in title..
Yes Definitely. Use a different title tag for each page and put your most important keywords at the start of the tag. Expeiment as to number - the more you have, the more keywords you MIGHT do well for BUT the power of the keywords is diluted with adding more. I believe Google has some limit as to no of characters - from memory I think it's somewhere between 60-70, but no doubt someone will correct me.
Of course you should use keywords in your title. This will help your rankings for those keywords. Put more important keywords closer to the beginning of your title tag. Try to keep the whole title under 75 characters, but you don't need to use all of that space. The more words you use, the more each word gets dilluted. So ideally only your most important target keywords are included for a page's title. Also make sure that each page of your website has a unique title that includes that page's target keywords.
The <title> element is the most powerful on-page ranking factor. So you DEFINITELY want to use keywords in the <title>. Using your site name in the <title> does more harm than good. Each page on your site 'should' be targeting a different keyword phrase or phrases. I typically target one major keyword phrase per page with possibly a 2nd or 3rd if both or all three are VERY similar. Those same keywords/keyword phrases should also be targeted by the <h1> and <h2> elements as well as the content of the page. They should also be used as link text when other pages on your site (or other sites) link to that page.
try to avoid repeating the same keyword again and again in titles. it may turn into negative results.
It's definitely a good idea to use your main keyword in your title, not only title but also in your meta description. Just make sure you don't get carried away and end up doing keyword stuffing. Search engines will penalize you instead of giving you credit
Yes, put your keywords in there, and in your H1 tag too. A good example of a TITLE & H1 combination for a weighloss company, for example, might be this: TITLE: WeightCo | Weight Loss & Dieting Tips H1: Weight Loss & Dieting Tips This will help let google really understand your page, and it's valuable to humans too as it's nice and concise and readable with no keyword stuffing.
yes I would say you must put keywords in title as it helps a lot in SEO.... the first thing google checks on your page is the title of the page so it will consider you title as the things you provide in your site.
to create a highly optimized keyword article it's really recommended to put the keyword in your title and put the keyword in the first paragraph of your content... also keep the keyword density on 2-3% and add keyword and related keyword in meta tag...
I support this. Assuming this is your main page, put general keywords about your business or what your website is about. Then, use your other pages to go more in depth by specifying more precise keywords still related to what your website is about. Avoid putting too much keywords as this will dilute what your website is really about and it may be seen as spammy by Google. The key really is to make everything look natural to a user. If it looks natural to you and your users, it's all fine for Google.
Of course, it should be added, you should take the time to develop your title tags carefully, making sure you have a good keyword foundation from which to draw and that every page has its own unique title reflecting the subject and keyword terms being optimized for.
yes, you should. In addition, the header line of the page content can be used to contain the keywords.
Yes for sure. Add title tags very carefully. Keep them unique according to information provided on page. Titles can help you a lot in optimizing for specific keywords.
