There is no time limit. This contest goes until someone makes a logo that I am happy with! My request: Height: 160 pixels max or less Length: No max. I am going to align the image on the left side of the page to free up some space on the right side for advertisements and/or a login box. *I just want it to say, "GamersThrone.com". I dont want the slogan on there. *I want the background to be transparent if possible, because I'm not sure if I will be keeping the grey background. Chances are I will eventually lighten up the background color a little bit. *I want it to look fancy, but I also want it to look smooth and sleek! Not too much going on at once. Try to keep it professional looking. *Make the logo video game related, but dont go overboard. For example, the current logo I made is from Gears of War 2 - that is exactly what I dont want. This is a general video game webpage for all types of games so I dont want anything specific to any video game characters or anything like that. Lets see what you could do! Good Luck!!
Thank you everyone for your entries so far. Here is some feedback... As I said in the PM, the logo is just a picture with the website name over it. I dont want a picture. If possible I want a logo that says GamersThrone.com with a transparent background (no image as background) and maybe one or two pictures tied into it to make it video game related. Honestly, I like this one because Call of Duty and Gears of War are my two favorite games! But, as mentioned in the original post, I do not want anything specific to any one video game. Also, I dont want an image as the background. Not bad, one of the better ones so far. Background looks transparent and it is clean and sleek looking. It's just a little too simple though. There isnt anything that ties in the idea of video games... This is just fancy text, but no tie to video games. This one is too basic and no tie to video games... Instead of looking like "GAMERSTHRONE" I would like it to look like "GamersThrone" - It can be all uppercase letters, but I want the "G" and the "T" to be larger so it looks like two words.
Like the others above, this one is too basic. Its fancy text like I asked for, but no relation to gaming. So far, this one is the best! Its definitely video game related. I like the controller on the left side. There is one problem with this one... if you were to just look at it really fast, you'd think you saw the GameStop logo. It looks too much like GameStop and is the background transparent? Or can I at least have the option to change the background color should the background color of the page ever change? This one isnt bad at all, but can you make it on one line to make it longer? Maybe take the controller and flip it around and make it partially transparent and stick it behind part of the text or something like that?
Not bad I like how you made the "A" look like a button on a video game controller! Can you make it all on one line so that it is longer and not as tall?
