Thanks for nice information, google had tried to buy DIGG, but failed, and now twitter it's not possible. Twitter became more popular in short time, and lots of people are now using twitter for communication, as i am using twitter for communication like chat, messaging etc...
twitter is just a boring boring website. i still can't for the life of me figure out how it became so popular so fast . everyone seemed to have forgot that chat rooms have been around for like 20 years. those have always been more entertaining then twitter
Its all about branding and some hype I suppose. Youtube Feedburner Digg Twitter Yahoo Next step - Buy ShoeMoney's blog. Or at least one of the sites at my siggy I can settle with 0.001% Of their current offer
Nobody is able to refuse $240 Million offer. Should go and buy Goole stocks before their price rise again.
ya true...but twitter has gained soo much popularity in a short period of time...if google gets it...it will b the king!!
I will bet that twitter will sell to google once it reaches the 1 billion user count. They estimated that by 2013 they will reach it.
I hope google buy twitter because current twitter owners and support staff really suck. They call affiliate news as "spam" even if the followers really wanted them and that's why they followed.
Facebook object to the use of Twitter, as reported earlier, FAcebook did a "study" that 10% of twitter accounts for 90% or more activities. that "study" probably killed the likelihood of Twitter being purchased. So should Twitter reach 1 billion users, in reality thanks to Facebook it would reach 10% of 1 billion or say 100 million users but that's not even there yet. Facebook is so competitive when it comes to Rivals.
a billion bucks for Twitter is certainly worth the brand and immense possibility it brings along. Right now I feel that within a few dadys Twitter will belong to Google regardless of everything. Google will try to lower the value though, its just healthy business after all. I really don't see why people hate wootever Google does in terms of mergers/acquisitions. They still haven't tried to do anything that really can be classified as 'negatively' monopolistic in nature and they dont try to slug off the competition that eventually could result in bad end user experience. Just my honest opinion.
The folks in Google are really business-conscious and they know good business when they seem one. It appears like Google intends buying up the internet.
I totally agree with that. Google will buy off any seems to be competitor or useful site and then make $$$ out of it
