Wordpress database expert required. few hours work to fix problem

My host says my blogs are overloading the server. i need help to identify the problem and then fix.

i have a few ideas about what may be causing the problem. but need wordpress expert to take a look at my wordpress files and maybe database to identify the problem then fix.

This may seem very simplistic and not at all your problem but have you checked your comments for spam. I once received about 8,ooo in a 24 hr period and it seriously bogged down my site.

thanks to all those digitalpoint members who sent me PMs with offers to help. i found 1 member who helped me solve my server excessive files problems.

also thanks to roseau for your suggestions.

the ultimate problem was being caused by a wp plugin that was caching many image files and exceeding my server file number limit.

This must be my unlucky week... hehehhe

I received valuable help from a few DP members that solved my initial server / WP problems. Thanks.

However now I've found a few more problems with which I need some assistance.

In brief, I've moved 2 or my blogs to a new shared server. However some small problems are not evident, perhaps with each blogs database.

The sites appear to be loading ok... so the DB problems are not major. The time involved initially may be 2-3 hours for someone who has experience with cpanel and wp DB and mysql issues.
