Would like to get together a list of 8-10 of the most popular 'internet marketing' related forums? So far I've got Digital Point, Site Point, and WebProWorld. What other popular ones are there? Thanks!

EarnersForum will be joining them, at the rate they've grown since starting just a few weeks ago. (See sig for link.)

I would say SitePoint and DigitalPoint are the big boys but SitePoint is losing the edge by monetizing several sections of the forums. Monetizing is one thing but its not that cheap either.

    Hi All

The Warriors forum is full of IM types, plus lots of big names. It is very fast moving. You can pick up some good WSO's (warrior special offers). Unfortunatly this also attracts quite a lot of rubbish as well.

Big downside is the masses if PIP'sters all pluging the same thing. I have nothing against PIP, but it gets somewhat tiresome when people post online posts just to get their signature advertised.

Although to be fair - the forum has cracked down on this.

It only costs to sell things in their marketplace. The rest of the forums are free and definitely a great place to discuss Internet marketing.

    Thanks for the feedback guys..

Yeah I forgot about Warrior Forum.. that's definitely a good one.
And Earner's Forum - never heard of that one before. Looks like it's growing pretty fast, though. BTW- How do you get a forum populated so quickly?!?

I am surprised so many people pay to list their sites for sale at sitepoint compared to just plonking them down here. Its free here and doesnt dp get more traffic?

Is that revenue or profit? That just sounds a little far fetched. 5k a day is 5 million in 3 years.

SitePoint has more traffic and more buyers. Site that are listed on SitePoint and other sites tend to get their highest price from SitePoint. They also devote more resources to their marketplace and also were featured in a very large business magazine recently.

5k a day isn't that much really if you know what you are doing and have put a lot of time (maybe a few years) into it...

Some ppl make 10,000 a day....

If you have 50 or so sites over 4 years, perhaps all interlink sharing traffic / pagerank etc, and you have the resources to put into marketing, and you have the smarts / know all the monetizing tips / tricks etc...

    5k a day isn't that crazy...

I don't make 5k in a day. I think it would be rather nice to earn 5k a day.

5K! If I could make that much even in a month in India, I would be considered wealthy...

Indeed. SitePoint is definitely up there ahead of the rest. DigitalPoint would be second by some distance. I do frequent Webmaster-Talk but its a rather small community. DigitalPoint is somewhat more relevent to me and helpful since I am still quite young in my internet business.

I think you make it sound a lot easier than it is. It is possible but only a very very small percentage of the people involved in internet marketing will ever reach such an income level.

Most people struggle to make more than $10/day :p .
