I never had any problems with MODS here. Whenever i reported something, action was taken within minutes.

Whenever i PMed MODS, i heard back from them on the same day (considering the time difference).

What more can you ask for?

 

Fulfilling the needs and requirments of every member is a difficult task. If everyone here follows the set rules, ther will not be much problem.

I never had any trouble with any of the mods here, so in my view they are doing an excellent job!

 

Yeah, this reminds me of my thread. You are asking for help from staff-only, and plenty of members will come to bug you and discuss your judgement, and even give red rep

This place will soon look like Turkmenistan, and Shawn will be our Niyazov, and members like me going on exile.

I'd never leave bad rep or invented feedback just because i know i would be immediately banned with no warning, just because i'm not the kind of people just reading threads about scams, frauds and leaving the place like i hadnt read anything, you know observing crimes and closing your eyes, i just cant do that.

Scammers/fraudsters are tolerated, people abusing of the system are more than welcome to do it. Its the big drama of these kind of forums.

Aged individuals here are respectful and objective, but there are too many youngsters trying to make a quick buck and playing in an aggressive way on webmaster forums, DP is a huge kindergarten, playground for myspace-style teens, the kind of people i would never talk to off the internet.

Forum rule number1= you will respect the other members. Do you need a screenshot of all the insults logged via the rep system? Every member leaving insults via rep system should be warned, but none has been, and i wont waste my time reporting them, they believe they leave anonymous comments while Shawn could know who wrote such mean comments with extremely offensive and hurtful terms.

Enjoy the place, hit the minority since its only a minority of disgruntled members leaving for more mature places.

 

If a thread is intend for staff, why don't you send a PM to them? If you make it public, that's your problem

First, there are people who don't deserve any form of respect.
Second, who in the world has the time to check every rep comment. I report a few and they've got reversed, so it is not a waste of time

 

Point no 1) If you wanted to Contact staff only you should have PMed them.
Point no 2) Instead of accepting that you were wrong, you keep blabing about it
Point no 3) If you think DP is like a Drama place and like a kindergarten, noone is forcing you to stay and post here.

 

Rep reversals? Unreal. That is really someone's job? You asked to have a remark removed because it hurt your feelings?

One more reason that the rep system is a joke. Oh why oh why did you give us the rep system jelsoft? Can we get yellow stars for certain members too? Will I awake to blood on my doorway?

The moderation is great, rep points are not 100% ok, but near and everything else seems ok

I have been here for few months and haven't reallly seen any of this spam people are talking about, i don't have any idea what this "in club" is and barely know who the mods are, and the red rep problem was pretty much solved with that -1 fixture, so I really dont understand these complaints by any means...

The only thing that I see that has changed with the immense growth there is a lot of newbies that are really fluding the Google forums with questions like "How do I earn money?" and other generic things of the sort which have been discussed multiple times and probably have no real answer...this fluding is also causing a decline in the quality of threads as people are less likely to sift through a lot of crap to find a decent conversation...

What I would recommend is putting a requirement of some sort before they are able to post in the Google or Marketing sections and increase the one on the marketplace....
I would suggest a 150 posts requirement, by the time they reach this they will atleast be able to search through old threads to find answers and realize there is no magic equation, and ofcourse general chat and etc. should not count toward post count...

I think a move of the sort is necessary as even though the forum is increasing in posts/users the quality is defenitely declining, and this might sooner then later cause a lot of users to leave the forums...

Consider it just look at the Google/Adsense forum it is really getting bad...

I happened to be flamed by a member needlessly here in one of the threads and when I PMed shawn he stated that admins/mods generally don't fall in to user fights! At first it did piss me off a little, but a couple of days later a similar situation was enocountered in one of my forums and it made me understand!

I am amazed at the speed and accuracy at which the forum staff keeps this forum going, if you checkout the spy thing that was recently introduced, you'll find a new mod activity every 20-30 seconds. Moved posts, merged posts, locked thread and what not!

The level of spam in the boards is ridiculously low and it feels great! Each time I have messaged a mod or an admin, I was replied to at the earliest and it felt great!
