3 google, yahoo & msn verification files

    Guys,

    I have a site there 3 google, yahoo, msn verification file in the server.
    because previous webmaster of this site didn't give me the webmaster central username and password.

    I uploaded new verificatin files now.

    is there any problem, if there is more than one more verification files?


    Please suggest.

    No.. remove the previous verification file.. so, the x owner don't see your site stats..
    and Upload your new verification file and verify your site so, you can only access your site stats.

    Not sure of the effect but then you can try
    Google shouldnt get confused with 2 files

    Do one thing first add one new file , verify it and then see what happens

    lastly as mentioned by bear why would you like to share your stats with previous owner
