Hi, I'm new to SEO. I'm maintaining three blogs of same niche and under same Class C (infact same ip aaddress). Is it possible for me to change the IP address now? If there is a possibility and if i change it, will it affect my contents on the blog? Also can anybody tell how to change the class C ip (if its possible)??? Looking forward for your solutions.
ip is assigned by your host. Most hosts allow you to 'buy' unique IPs although they may all be on the same block. An alternative is to spread your sites around a number of cheap hosts. Or buy specialized 'blackhat' hosting (not recommended).
Thanks for your replies guys. Even I thought the same - is it because of the reason that I have hosted all three domains at godaddy, they are having the same class C IPs? And is there anyway that I can change the IPs at godaddy . . .
http://www.seohosting.com/ is your choice. It's the same company running HostGator. It's not the cheapest seo hosting ever but it's reliable and most users are happy with it.
Well, "cheap" is a relative term. When you consider the cost of doing things the wrong way, seohosting is actually a good bargain.
Based on your replies, I guess there is no way of assigning different class C IPs in godaddy . . . I've got a better idea of what they are now. Is there any FREE method to change those IP addresses???
