Well i had a trade a few days ago ... like i sold a site got paid in 2 payments thru paypal .. but for some reason the payment got reversed, the buyer seems to claims that his acc was getting verified , and he is expecting mail from payapl .. but i dont really feel thats true cuz as far as i know paypal verifies by chargin some amout ( 2$) then you need to look in to your cc transaction list and see for some number.it would be great if someone gave me some right info about this.

    thank you

Can also be via a deposit to the bank account, which can take a week. Or by phone, which can be delayed.

Yes, when I signed up for Paypal, they billed my credit card a $1 and I would need to get the code which would then be listed next to Paypal on my credit card statement. If you have access to the online statement of your credit card, you should be able to see the charge within a few days but if not, you need to wait till you receive the credit card statement which can come a month later or so, depending on the bank.

Seems kinda strange though. If the buyer's account wasn't verified yet then how could he have made payment through Paypal in the first place? I've never seen that happen. Paypal usually reverses payments when the buyer makes a fraud claim or something similar. Paypal then reverses the payment and "investigates" the situation. Usually they do nothing. It's hazardous to use Paypal when dealing with sites and domains. Hopefully it will work out.

seems about right. you cannot make a payment unless your account is verified. it's likely he filed a dispute to get his money back.

Its impossible to pay unless you are verified. Paypal may have sent a notice saying that payment was being "held" and will be released *if* the buyer checks out. In that case the website should not have been released.

Check the payment received notification email that was sent to you and click on the 'View the details of this transaction online' and see if the customer is 'Verified'. If it ain't, you might want to reject the order.
