how I spent $150 on directories. . . what do you think

I recently decided to spend $150 on web diretories to promote my web site, I have spent $120 so far. What do you think? Any recomendation on the remaining $30 are welcome.

Alive Directory (my site on PR5 page) ($30, reg link)
Epitrope (my site on PR 6 page) ($30, featured link)
Linkopedia (my site on PR 3 page) ($10, reg link)
Site Sift (my site on PR 6 page) ($50, reg link)

What do you think,money well spent?

 

i wouldn`t have bought on linkopedia, since it`s only PR3

All excellent directories, I'm in all of them as well -- Of course I'd suggest my own directory but that would just be too biased so I'll let someone else leave you with recommendations

 

I would suggest looking at some paid directories on info.vilesilencer.com as Dan sends a ton of traffic to directories.

It has helped my two directories grow.

 

I originally subbmited it to a PR 4 page, but they said it fit better into the PR 3 page.

Have someone blog about your site. A PR5 blog would cost you $10-$25.

 

What do you think,money well spent? <- Could of saved some money and got it listed by hundreds of directories.

I could pitch my directories here too, but that's not what he wanted. My best advice would be to find directories that are unique, have pr, and look like the directory owner spent a lot of time making it what it is.

I know the time spent on my directories have increased the number of submissions and trust of my link owners.

You spend your money how you want to.

So far the PR of Alive Directory is only 4 ,althoug many people (including me)think it should be 9

 

wow, the homepage is only 4, did not know that. the inner 1st level pages are 5, thats where my page is. according to yahoo it has 711,000 links.

according to google my site has 7 links, yet I have the same PR of 4

 

Don't worry... money well spent in Alive.

Spend the last $30 on a submission to 200+ directories.

 

The last two PR updates have not really changed older sites. Trust me, Alive Directory will be updated in the future and it's PR will skyrocket.

Last time I spoke with Chris, he said alive directory was getting well over 1200+ uniques per day... It is definitely worth the submission price.
