I disagree, WP can be configured to absolutely rock, or it can just be average.

the secret is not plugins, its in the operation of it. I would say more but we have a big post on this coming soonish on all the stuff we do that I never read anywhere else, and am not going to spoil it in advance, sorry ;)

WP SEO is not only about what plugins you run, not by a long way

a lot of blogs I see dont even use the basics on All in One SEO properly

    Thats good...
But what is right method to do SEO of WP blog like other one. In yoast.. just plugins are given there.. I dont think so it is right method to do seo....

I tried to get top rank on some keywords by using all these plugins with good keyword rich articles. But all fails while other sites who have less content, less Backlinks than me are getting better rank than me... So something is wrong with blog seo.

Just installing the plugin isn't going to do much, you're going to have to spend alot of time thinking about keywords, titles, etc to utilize the plugins correctly

agreed. I recommend Platinum SEO, because they have most of the stuff pre-configured to standards used in today's SEO practices. However, you still have to enter META keywords and what not and also have to fine tune the configuration.

what I've done is onpage optimization, I included main keywords on title, I include keywords on the page. Look through http://www.netbookin.com/ category structure and tag structure.

I'll be glad to share what works for me. It will probably go against some commonly recommended suggestions, but it works.

For starters, WP offers a number of great features that can make it a great SEO performer. However, some of those same features can hurt you if you don't know what you are doing. Here are a few thoughts:

#1 - Consider changing your permalink structure to /%category%/%post% format instead of what you have now.

#2 - Take advantage of the features that make WP both a web 2.0 property and a static site. Consider creating a static front page for your site so that it focuses on whatever keywords or phrases you are going after. Allowing the content on the index page to change frequently removes whatever work you put into title density, keyword density, etc. as it's constantly changing.

#3 - Use pages instead of posts for your really important "pages" where you want to rank for a particular keyword. Utilize a layout so the pages are listed and linked from the index page. Install the All in one SEO plug-in and make sure you craft a good page title and description for every page. In the description, list the targeted keyword phrase twice. Once towards the front and again towards the back. In my experience, pages rank much higher and easier than posts.

#4 - Posts - Use posts as a method to bring SE's to your site and let the pages do the ranking. It looks like you are doing a good job of utilizing tags on your site, but I'll go one step further for you. Install the Google sitemap plug-in (just google it to locate). On the set-up page telling this plug in what to send to google, make sure you check to make sure it includes tag pages. This way your site map will include each and every page created with a tag. They will get indexed much quicker and bring traffic based on the tags.

#5 - Install a plug-in called Feedcontrol as it lets you include pages into your RSS feed.

#6 - Install a plug-in called RSS Footer. It adds a link to your site in the footer of your RSS feed. If someone scrapes your feed for content, you get a link back.

#6 - Submit your RSS feed to RSS directories like Feedagg, icerocket, etc.

If you can implement those suggestions, I think it will help with your overall SEO.

    Hope it helps.

Komic, I agree with you 100%. Right when I got near 100 posts is when I began to see more and more progression and more traffic.
