Where is my wordpress database password?

    How can i find my wordpress database password?

    i have deleted wrong some wordpress files and now i have uploaded new files,i have it them to get connected with my wordpress database.

    i did solve the problem ..thanks

    Here how i did it;
    i add a new database username and password ,then i related the new username to database..then updated my wp-config.php file..

    it is all.

    Great job, and thanks for sharing, where as lot of people not even bother to thanks for the others. But you done by yourself and still posting the reply and I am sure lot of people like me can be get benefit out of it.

    lol, u could hav just checked your wp-config.php file and your old password would hav been there, you wouldn't had to change it...

    after install wp, just download wp-config.php file and see your database info there. thats it :)

    Heh shouldn't have had to go through all that trouble, the database password should have been in wp-config.php

    alternative way, if you forget your password, you can make a new one from database user with phpmyadmin at your control panel.
