Well, it was review at Namepros and I am sure you know what that site is about? Purely Domain Names and the reviews are positive. Also a few developers here pointed that they liked it too. Due to its accuracy, its getting positive reviews. It has about 300 uses at the test site. And now about 270 at it.asia site. Overall it has about 600 uses from more than 70 people and so far, more people are liking it than not. try again with different extensions and compare that with your favorite domain appraisal. what's your favorite? do a test of some of the domain names side by side and see which is more accurate. the results will show.
I am in the process of changing some of the values. Since its not yet finalize, some of the variables will give you different values at the moment. For the most part the values are set, I had my programmer going back into it to make some more changes. Your tool is broken.. I tried changing a lot of variables like category, economy situation and excite level. Craiglist.org and craiglist.com are always worthless. Now I see that you scoff at the notion that traffic is worth anything in relation to domain names. But I have to tell you that everybody else who is in business online does not share your view. A domain with alexa rank 26 should not be appraised worthless no matter what you put in the other variables..
It did not come out to be 0 like you say. One more thing. According to your cut and paste, (you have a bit of an error), you forget to type in "Name". As how it appears in the appraisal script. Clearly you did not use it but attempt to mimic like you did. (caught!) For example, a business' worth, is base on its good wills, services, cash flow per month, products offering, growth opportunities, debts, assets, and much much more. I dont know which world your tool gives appraisals for, but in mine craigslist.org is not worthless or worth 1K USD.. Its worth much more.. If you have a new tool you are trying to develop you ask beta testers to give you input. You dont proclaim that your automated service gives the most accurate appraisals on the web.. Thats just weak. Especially so when the tools estimates are heavily influenced by the buyers view of his own property. But truthfully; even with totally unbiased data input, your tool gives completely unrealistic estimates..
A domain name appraisal tool is not a tool to appraise how much a business is worth. You are confused. Any domain name appraisal tool that tries to appraise a value of a business base on its domain name is full of BALONEY and Sandwiches. Sorry but that's reality. What a business's worth? Assets, debts, services, customers, cash flow, inventory, etc., these are not public records... AGAIN. Any domain name appraisal tool that tries to appraise a business value is full of BALONEY. So what is johnslist.org worth to you? Or jenslist.org or baloneyslist.org? Surely if jenslist is a business, then it has value, however that value can't be part of a domain name appraisal because it would be inaccurate trying to value how much a business is worth via a domain name appraisal tool. Another thing... It looks like you can't even follow onscreen instructions. Take a look at the picture you uploaded to find out why. At this point this is almost incredible, there are those that 1) do not know what a domain and subdomain is 2) doesn't know the difference between 20,000 and 25,000,000 and 3) a business value and a domain value is different. and you are one of them, basic on screen instructions.....if you can't follow that.......................nothing can help you. take a look at the pic you uploaded again.

Valuing a compound/building/property is not the same as valuing the businesses that are located in the building. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You cannot value a business without knowing what its assets are worth, how much debt it has, how many customers or who its customers are, what are the monthly cash flows, what investments it has if any, what kind of products or trademarkts it has, the market size it commands and so forth.
