Sudden rise of backlinks

    Hi,

I run a normal link building campaign. With that, I mean forum and blog posting and directory and article submission. I made 10-20 backlinks each day.

Over the last week though, my incoming links have risen significantly. A blog posted my link on each of his 200 pages for example.

Is this going to hurt my ranking? Or doesn't it matter because the links are all from the same URL?

This is the tool I use to count backlinks.

For Yahoo search engine it will benefit you because each act as someone new is linking to you and it looks like you got 200 links. For Google it looks like only 1.

Don't worry it won't hurt your site one bit. In fact while Google doesn't care much about sitewide links anymore, I think they're still great for Yahoo :)
