Hello folks.. i'm a little new to this directory stuff.. i'm going to put out some wiki-like directory, and the service will be free for end users. the question is... how can i make some cash with a directory if i'm not billing for been listed? offcourse i want to do some cash because it will grow very fast and offcourse servers and others are paid from my pocket. thanks in advance for your advice.
if you design your directory well, and it's a niche directory... you can make some money off adsense and affiliate ads. Just doing it tastefully, and don't spam your website with ads.
I'd say the most revenue will come from premium submissions rather than ads but its really whichever route you take as bbott said. Like anything though, you really should enjoy running the directory and not just do it for the money or I doubt you'll last very long. Best of luck!
Offcourse I will enjoy doing it. as i said.. i just want enough to pay hosting and others.... i'm not thinking to become rich about this.. but if it happens...... back to the subject.. affiliate ads and adsense... i understand afiliate ads... i adsense.don't understand if you could..... i'll apreciate.
