Has anyone here ever used PayPerPost.com and have results to share? I don't want your opinions on this service, only results from anyone who may have use dit.

However, I DO want your opinions on Text-link-ads.com-- anyone here used it? Is it effective for getting raffic and also from a cost perspective?

    Thanks!

Firstly, text-link-ads.com - the support is very good, and implementation is very easy, if you want to earn some income from your blog or website, then this is perfect.

The only thing to bear in mind is that they take a 50% cut.

PayPerPost.com - i've yet to be paid from them, I was going to login and see if my blog post was accepted. At the moment theres very few advertisements and low money, i.e. $2. Personally, it's not worth getting out of my bed for $2.

    Hope this helps.

Text-Link-Ads is pretty good, you've got to have a good site to get in... no spammy stuff.

I think the poster was asking how Text-Link-Ads.com was from a advertisers point of view. I have Text-Link-Ads running on a few of my higher PR rated sites and have always wondered how the CTR was for my advertisers. I wish there was a way for publishers to see this information easily. It would give me an idea if my advertisers were happy with the CTR or if I possibly needed to move the Text ads to another position on the page.

    re: text-link-ads.com and "nofollow"

As I understand it, it is better to use the rel="nofollow" attribute in the anchor < a > tag, from the perspective of not being penalised by Google.

However, will text-link-ads.com allow this ?

    David.

I tried applying for text link ads, they never approve low-profile blogs. Sadly.

I have no problems with TLA they are one of the best advertising networks that I have worked with and I would recommend them to anyone.

I've never used TLA as an advertising tool yet, but I have seen other sites reporting great results with TLA and certainly I intend to do so in the future.
