What would happen if I posted an AdSense ad?

Like if I just posted the code in this post. Is it against the TOS or this site's policies? Because I know another forum that they coded so there is a big AdSense block in the first post of each thread.

 

I think it's ok provided that there's only ONE pub ID on ONE page.

When you see an Adsense ad appear underneath someone's post in a forum, that is the work of the forum owner. He's hacked his theme so that it displays an Adsense ad underneath the posts made by his users (such as what DP does with the first post in every thread). That's NOT the user doing it.

 

I know that, I was just wondering if it was legal to put in a post, instead of it being like a banner on top of the forums or whatever.

Yes I did know that. I knew that the owner did it, becuase he said that he did it, and every first post in the thread has an ad in it.

I never said "I know users can't post ads".
