Google say that, 200 factors are considered in ranking a website, one of these factors is the PR of a site. I personally think that the PR have little bit affect on the ranking but this affect is one of the 200 total things that affect ranking.

my blog was ranked as 4 by Google, that was when I received so many advertising requests, but when Google update it's page rank list for the last 3 month, my blog went down to 3 :( this is why I didn't receive any request since that time!

Very interesting results! For a long time now I've seen some of my new sites with very low PR getting huge amount of traffic from Google. Which brought me to the same conclusions.

Just the fact the Google Chrome doesnt even show PR of the websites you surf goes to show Google is moving away from the PageRank (at least what is visual to us)....

Its obvious, isn't it? PR is only 1 of the 200+ factors the Google algorithm uses for ranking web pages. So if you work only on PR and ignore the other factors, you are not going to rank well.

That said, we all know that PR and Keywords in page title are the two most important factors in terms of weightage in Google's algo

That is certainly interesting. Were all of the domains roughly the same age? How competitive was each set of main keywords? I feel this is not a complete study.

Who needs high PR if you have high traffic to your sites through your posts. That's what's hard with making money online, quality and quantity of your posts matter a lot. Proper SEO utilization is really important too.

is not the PR of your page that means anything, but the PR of the incoming links.

Depends on your site and your niche and the competition. Page rank is just a measure. It may help to rank in cases of equal standings with the competitor, but in general, it is not what makes the hits.

Yes, that's what Google says (PR being one of about 200 ranking factors). What they do not say is how little or how much "weight" they give PR in that list of ranking factors. It would be a big mistake, I believe, to conclude that PR contributes only 1/2 of one percent (that is, 1/200) to the ranking. If I were a betting man, I would lay some good money down betting that PR is one of the top factors in ranking among those 200.
