    Google sitemap has rule of 50.000 links per sitelink. However you can have sub sitelink pages in a sitelink thereby inc it many times.

    Most of WP site hardly reach 50k url so nothing to worry about.

    Yes...It depends actually how large your website and what are the elements that are required to be listed in your sitemap...

    I use the wordpress sitemap generator plugin as well, and so far 10,000 urls and still able to run.

    unlimited you can have but in that form of matrix structure.
