Yep I would. I would pay upto 7$ monthly.
It would be pretty good way to get rid of spammers and idiots.

 

I would pay, but i think in about 3 months ill be moving to different forum, because many users wont pay and the forum wont be the same.

 

Viewing ads, on DP, is surfeit payment for what it offers.

 

DP Generates thousands of dollars on adsense and advertisers and on donators every month. So no need for a dollar.

Plz hide this thread from Shawn ... As most members are ready to pay $1, it may result in some wired ideas in his mind. 129,551 members paying $1 per month. That's really a big amount

 

At first I would pay $1/month, even $50/month though after a while it may not be worth it because DP has thousands of members and member new people join every day. If DP did charge $1/month it would turn away new users who haven't used DP before and some people who live in developing countries and I think this could have a large impact on DP and the services on offer although the content quality would probably increase.

Many people earn less than $1 a day, although through the use of these forums people have the ability to increase their income a lot though initially may not be able to afford it and may be turned away. If I came to DP for the first time and was asked to may to register I would have just gone to other forums though after using DP and making money from the forums I would be happy to pay way more than $1 and in the end I think the rate of new members joining would significantly decrease and webmasters offering cheap services would decrease which DP is famous for

 

If they ever come up with that, spammers, scammers will be reduce i think..

I Would pay $1 / month to dp , it will be a good plan to introuce such simple ideas to solve problems like data base errors from dp .

If its donation, I would. But probably not as a paid forum.

 

They already make a lot off us, so no i wouldn't

 

People are cheap. A buck? Darn right. DP is worth more than that. And to say a buck isn't worth anything is misleading. Before I retired I had a vending machine business selling AIR.. AIR! Regular old, every day AIR. That's right. You probably bought some for your car tires.

At that time it was a quarter for 3 minutes. I used to BRING HOME 50,000 a month in quarters! So yeah, if every person at DP paid a buck I'd take it right now! And I'd pay it too... Where do I sign?

 

Yeah it is source of income for many people here so 1 $ won't be much. I definitely would pay.
