    Hi everyone,

We are looking for a logo design using the following text:

We do not have anything particular in mind in terms of colours or concepts; however, we would like it to convey a "professional" image.

The logo should be fully-scalable as we intend to use it in a variety of media (i.e., web and print).

The contest will end on April 19th and the winner will be paid $20 USD via PayPal.

    Thanks,

    Emily

    Dzt:

This logo is actually very nice, simple and elegant - good job! I really like the style, and "look". Is there a way you could incorporate a symbol of some sort, to make it a bit more memorable? Thanks!

    DesignGuru:

I like that you incorporated a symbol into the logo, but I'm not quite sure what the top of the symbol portrays.. the white outline/shadow around the text is also a bit distracting. Overall, a good start though! Thank you for your entry. :)

    Hi all,

    DesignGuru:

Thank you for the update, it is much appreciated. I like this much better than the initial design.. in the first one, I liked that you incorporated a symbol (I just didn't know what the symbol was or how it pertained to accounting)..

edit: I noticed you just updated the last one... I like the neat little symbol on the A. Could you reshape the "L" to make it flow a little better? Thanks! :)

    -----

    DZT:

That looks pretty cool, I like it and can't really think of any more suggestions. Thank you. :)

    -----
    Virgin-Seo:

I cannot view your image, unfortunately it comes up as an "X".

    -----
    Other note:

I have been browsing various other contests, and came across renderwork's logo design. I think this is a neat concept and ties well into accounting or finance...perhaps it could be used as inspiration?

Thanks again to all - I look forward to seeing more entries!

    Hi everyone,

More good entries -- thank you to all!!

    xxxplatinum:

I am not really "feeling" this logo; is there a way you could tie it all together, to look simple, yet still stylistic?

    -------------
    logorice:

I like this initial concept! Is there a way to make "accounting club" mesh better with the overall design? (i.e., enlarge the text). I also like the LAC, which is of course our acronym, but it is still a little hard to distinguish the "a". Overall, a really simplistic and stylistic start!!

    -----------
    NemsisQaine:

I really like the concept and how you've tied it into accounting and finance. Perhaps you could try changing the font (I don't like this font), and redesigning the bills to look a little more professional?

    -----------

Once again, thank you to everyone. You're all making this a very tough decision (which is good and speaks to the talent here at DP!!) :)

    Renderwork,

That is an excellent design! Could I see what it looks like with a softer shadow? Also, can you erase the grey line on the right side of the circle and make the blue "accounting club" text fit in a little better?

Edit: Would you also be able to make the blue banner (the one extending from the seal) a little bit taller? I think this would look cool, and then in the future if we were to use this logo, we could extend one side horizontally to make it into a banner, with our contact information. (if you get what I'm saying).

Overall, excellent entries so far and a very tough decision. Good job everyone. :)

    Hi Nemesis,

I still like the concept, but I'm not fond of the font, and bills... I think we are aiming for something a bit more professional looking, but thank you very much for taking the time to update your entry.
