Guys Do you thing Yahoo will be the number one search engine as before? And of course will take the place to Google as it is on first now?

Maybe, Yahoo!'s landing page is quite popular so it's Alexa rank could be back at #1, but as far as search engines go, Google sits comfortably in the king's chair!

    My opinion!

I don't think so, but I hope so.

I'm getting sick of Google monopoly.

Google is fairly entrenched, I'd say not.

Going to be tough for Yahoo to make a run at the Big G IMO - I just don't see it happening.

If Microsoft buys Yahoo as they were supposed to, then I have no doubt that a merged MSN-Yahoo entity will rival Google and perhaps their merged YPN product can even trump AdSense. Otherwise, it is not going to happen.

Microsoft & yahoo are frightened by google . They think that if they get togather they can beat Google but Big G will win. Google is search engine king.

    Because They Say NO EVIL.

No! I dont think so, Google constantly change their algorithm and introduce new enhanced features for their users. Yahoo still seems to be far behind as far as search result is concern.
About Alexa ranking, yahoo stays of top because they have hundreds of sub-domains which brings traffic to their main domain and brings it to no1 spot.

Yahoo is only high because BT users are forced there as a homepage when they sign up, and 90% of their clients don't know how to change their homepage...

Google is too imaginative and very active to let the first place go easily. Yahoo is anyway too far behind in the race to think of challenging the leader.....not at least in the near future.
