i have one year old blogger blog and having around 350 visitors per day. im using analytics for tracking visitors. last few days i posted 3-4 posts per day(more than usual) but didn't any other thing. since last 2 days my google traffic drops from 150 to 10 per day. this happened to me in several times but i dont know why. also this will fixed automatically. but i want to know what is the reason.
Your average was generally 350 visitors per day? Perhaps it needs time for Google to index your pages or is it the Google dance. Are you excluding referral visitors?
Check in the webmaster tool whether Google bot is following your links. If that is the case the solution is in the link below: http://www.pentheblog.com/2009/04/how-to-solve-redirect-error-in-google.html
As long as it is correcting itself I wouldn't be too worried. It sounds like you are doing a good thing by adding so much content daily, and it doesn't sound like it should raise any flags.
They key is wait, keep working on your site getting incoming links, your blog is newbi for Google, you will dance for a couple of months or year more, but then if you keep working all will be fine , do not worry about Google, if you have a good blog, make it nice and with very good information, shoemoney is an example, read the shoemoney history Best
It has happened to me too. From around 300 to 10-15 visitors a day. My blog is niched around a topic that was popular recently and not any more - so I can kind of understand it - but not sure if that will have any relevance for you though.
I picked a page from one of your signature links and found it contained duplicate content from another site that had posted the same material earlier. If that is common throughout that and your other sites that is why your visitors have dropped. It does not matter how much content you have if it is duplicate because Google won't index it. This is the first thing I check for on this forum when people mention a loss of traffic and nearly 100% of the time I find duplicate content. This is meant to be straight forward and informative, not critical. I hope it helps.
thanks for clearing that up, it really helps me know if i dont get any google traffic in future. cheers!
Since you are using analytics, have you checked the serp for your major ranking keywords? How about the number of incoming links? This is should be visible in your webmasters tools data.
i noticed google is doing some strange things at the moment, maybe just wait it out and you will have them back when google changes or places you higher again.
I think it may be because of google dance but i think you have lost some serp ranking due to dance. anyways all the best
