I dont know why, but my vps is down today too without a reason[i never shut it]. I tried rebooting and now everything works again. This is the second time it is happening. I'll report if it is repeated tomorrow too. btw, i feel support is a bit slow.
Hello sir, You are probably running apps/programs on your server that use over the allocated RAM you have.. therefore the server crashes when you do that - this happens on all servers! Please don't blame it on us. I don't consider 1 - 2 hour response time on tickets slow support. I mean, we are all humans and so am I, I highly doubt a robot is running a hosting company.. so please don't expect like 3 second response times on tickets, only robots can do that. But we guarantee 1-2 hour responses and that is pretty fast in my opinion.
Why my vps specs are not doubled? I used to have 40 gb hd and 1.3 gb ram . Now is 20gb hd and 700mb ram.

The reason is that he pays nearlt 150 USD per server with 8 GB ram, with the RAM he offers Guaranteed then he can only host 12 VPS's per sever without overselling. But, 12 VPS's per server will give him a income of 72 Monthly when he pays well over 150.... You don't need to be a professor to understand the logic behind this huge loss or HUGE overselling.

Just a quick question to the OP: Do we have shell (ssh) access to the VPS or via control panel only ? Astounding VPS specs for just $6/month has surely drawn my attention, if ssh access is available I'll buy one immediately. Edit: Please answer this aswell, is Ubuntu available as an OS choice ?

Do we have shell (ssh) access to the VPS or via control panel only ? yes get SSH and Lxadmin by default. is Ubuntu available as an OS choice? yes Ubuntu is an OS choice but it isn't preinstalled with Lxadmin. Hope that clears some stuff up for you.
