    Umm, let me check....

Oh ya, so much proof that evolution is not even close. Come on do some research for yourself, so much of what the theory is based on has been debunked year after year. Just because schools teach it as fact does not make it so. Like having 10 pieces to a billion part puzzle and saying - see I filled in the blanks.

you are in the wrong thread - do a search for evolution - we had a long discussion a while back, but then do some research for yourself. Really.

I few things were said that are just not correct. I want to help clear them up.

First, most of the government's costs are fixed costs. The government will spend the same amount of money on Defense (like 500 billion dollars a year) if there are 200 million people living here or 500 million people here. The government will pay the same interest on the debt, will pay the same money for scientific research, etc. The more people living, working, and paying taxes in this country, THE LESS each person will need to pay.

Most of the women who have abortions are able to afford having a child. Poor women are no more likely to have abortions than rich women.

Given that, abortion does NOT save tax dollars. It actually works the other way.

That said, I don't think that taxes should be the first or only concern on the issue of abortion. I just want to make sure that people get their facts straight.

Next, incest, rape, child molestation, etc are all horrible. It is importaint to note, however, that only a very, very small percent of pregnancies are do to these. They are minimual exceptions, and not really part of the main point of the discussion. The discussion should focus on the 99% of abortions which are not related to these rare cases, at all.

Next, we should really focus only on babies in the first trimester. After the first trimester, babies can survive outside the womb. After about 18-22 weeks, the baby can survive if born. The 2nd and 3rd trimester unborn child has all his organs, can survive outside of the womb, and most women have already had ultrasounds. It is, honestly, rare for a woman to have an abortion at this stage. Maybe 10% of abortions or so are after the first trimester.

We should then focus on the question of if a healthy woman should be allowed to have a first-trimester abortion. The other cases are just too rare for people to spend too much time worring about.

That is not to say that those cases are not importaint; every case is important, as is every specific situation. However, talking about incest-related abortions and partial-birth abortions is talking about very rare cases, as opposed to the must more common first-trimester abortions.

Correct, but when we're asking if abortion should be legal one way of the other you have to take those cases into account, they don't just go away.

LOL... abortion is wrong, immoral and murder unless it's a situation I have sympathy for! :D

Maybe we should set up an abortion court, where you have to talk to judge Gtech if you want one, and he get's to decide if you get one or not!

Or send them over to judge yo mtv raps for execution of hitler's master plan. 1.4 million is nothing. Better yet, send them over to your favorite democratic government, hamas, for use as body armor.

After all, according to you, people that chose abortion are deadbeats, unresponsible, no job having, drug addicts who comes from single-parent homes. Nothing like self-loathing to make a point ;)

Duly noted, murdering millions of babies in hitleresque fashion has not changed.

You'll have to go back and read where I answered your question several times. I believe we established it wasn't a browser/cache issue (correct?), it was being deliberately obtuse. I see the disease is spreading more rapidly than initially realized ;)

If that's how ignorace want's to see it then I guess that's how ignoance will see it.

Perhaps you can provide a link (if there indeed is a serious solution) I guess I missed that revelation if there was such one. You lack of willingness to repeat it makes me think even you see the futility of your position.

So you no longer support murdering innocent babies? You are saying it's ignorant to murder 1.4 million babies in hitleresque fashion? I think we're making progress afterall!

You're not far behind John Kerry. He flip flopped on the Iraq war 14 times during his candidacy. Basically a new position every week.

    My pleasure!

And for a kind gesture, I'll even provide where you were having extreme difficulty in comprehending:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=1112753&postcount=646

I've bookmarked them for future reference. At first I thought it was just your browser not updating the cache. Then I thought you were being deliberately obtuse. I had no idea it was just a short attention span!

Its true that women are free to do whatever they want...but ... when u look from my eyes i see theres a life being taken away..cuz if u get more deeply into thinking...we dont really know what life is..and we dont know when it starts..but i think its starts from the time a women starts getting pregnant...So abortions should be banned shouldnt be banned? depends on the point of views...but for me its killing a life..in the form of an unborn child...and moreover if abortions are allowed do you think after 10-20 years people would be concerned about taking birth control actions? i dunt think so cuz drez an option of killing thee unborn child already....i think this topic is very subjective thatz y drez a lot of discussions around..

No, I'm saying you're ignorant, just too ignorant to realise it :p

I don't change my opinions. I don't let other people tell me what to think like others do. I make my own mind up and stand by the strenght of my convitions.

LOL, so you're seriously telling me that people will be forced to take care of babys that they don't want? Do you really think that people won't have illegal abortions, abandon their babies or pedophiles will buy them? Maybe I should add naive to ignorant?

Adoption is a solution? Pray tell me where the extra people will come from to adopt these kids? There are already millions of kids across the world that nobody wants without adding abnoter 47million each year to the total. As I've pointed out before in this thread (do YOU have a cache issue?) That's every man woman and child in London having to adopt SEVEN childred EVERY year.

Just like most of you're arguements and solutions, sounds perfect on paper, but practically it'll never work. Are you sure you're not Communist? You certainly have a lot in common with them, Huh Stalin?

Now you've finished playing perhaps you can suggest the real solution you were talking about, you know, the one that would actually work?

Dude, the birthrate has decreased the latest 50 years in Europe. We have a lot room. The question is if we have too much empty rooms.
