My Adsense Account Banned - I Lost $300

Today i recd. mail from google.

This really sucks as i had never violated their terms, I had been using adsense since a year and was always loyal to them.

Any help to recover my adsense account is highly appreciated.

Once Google disables one publisher's account, its really difficult to get it back. From my experience, they dont really disables without a good reason. Also, you could try to file in an appeal against your ban. But, less than 1% to get it back.

Hate to say this - but you are toast. You can send an email and if you are lucky you will get a response in 30 days. And that response will say the same thing the original email stated. They will never give you the exact reason the terminated you.

No. There is very little you can do about it but you can try Adsense alternative like bidvertiser, Adbrite or similar PPC programs instead of repenting on your account being banned but do contact them.

I have read about couple of cases where people have sued google for banning their accounts and got their payments back. But, I doubt $300 is not good enough money to take to the court as it would cost you a lot more to hire a lawyer for this :)

Obviously they disagree... post some of your sites over at the guidance subforum and we can take a look. You might be able to convince them to let you back in if it was unintentional

Fyi for anyone else: Many people here give bad ad placement advice that will get you banned if you listen to them. For example, ads under blog post titles and such.

Its really bad that they ban accounts !! :( people lose so much money due to that !

May be you haven't followed even a single rule as told by google. And they did it due to that songle mistake.

    Anyways try contacting them.

I had tried email marketing from 23rd march to 1st april and it was giving me 20-25 daily.

I think that might be the case, but people were never asked to click on ads in the email nor they are asked to visit my sites.

Its really weird, i just asked couple of friends about adsense ban, and they were also banned in past.

Policy of banning really sucks, i never received a single warning or notification if they have any issues.

You put ads on emails? It's against the TOS... It's not allowed even advertise your sites which include adsense ads in emails.

People do silly things and end up getting banned and then later come and complain. It's your own fault, you should of played by google's rules not yours.

I have a website that uses adsense. Are you saying that my newsletters are against the adsense TOS?

My adsense account was also banned a long time back. Never got it back :(
As per my thinking, we should not try to exceed the daily income by any means if we are not running a big organization or if we don't have alot many sites on which we have our ads.

You broke their TOS (ads in e-mails)... what did you expect? Move to another PPC network and be more careful!
