I want to open an online store. I will take care about everything: domain name registration, design, coding, seo, promoting, finding customers, running the business etc. I'm already doing this for someone else so I would know what to do. However I still have a big problem I don't know what to sell. I'm looking for an accessible niche, a cool product, something to start a small online store. Any ideas are accepted no matter how dumb
If you want to start immediately then you should join Amazon as an affiliate and use their "astore" feature. Find more details on their website after joining. Later you can add your own products.
I can build an affiliate program for my products and let other sell for me. I want my own store, a niche store who sells something good.. I just don't know what
What you sell in your site, can depend on your interests.Like: If I was you, then I would open a PC store and would start from some PC components; Used and New. You can get used stuff from ebay for good price and then you can sell it in your own site.
Sell light bulbs everyone needs them you can't live without them. They come in all sizes and colors and shapes.
I agree on this, knowing alot about the product will have its advantage, creating unique descriptions and reviews. Perhaps looking into a niche that doesn't have much competition
the thing to do is search Google for dropshipping and their will be some that dropship and sell various items
lol the BEST option is to create your own dropshipping list. Don't subscribe to online lists, just pick a niche market near you and contact the suppliers. They can be found in trade magazines A friend who has many fashion industry contacts approached me about building a site for him. He was going to purcahse the products from suppliers I discussed how dropshipping works and in this climate they are more than happy to come to the party.
Find out the niche in which you have more interest, Without interest and knowledge you won't get success in business...
@angilina - Selling pc components would be my last option, i'm looking for something simple. Having an pc hardware store is not as simple as you might think @pgeorge777 - I'm not sure, but I can make a custom one for a small store. @karen morgan - I could sell watches even I don't know so much about it, I just don't have the contact. I was thinking at some kind of gadget that would be easy to sell, something as "electronic cigarette". Waiting for other bright ideas
WHAT you are going to sell and to WHOM is probably the biggest part of the equation--figuring out what to sell, what will sell, who to sell it to. In fact, over 85% of all ecommerce go bust. People tend to not want to do the up front work and just pour money in the development. So start with areas you know something about. Write them down. Then be on the lookout for niches or ways you can take these ideas. You also need to think about whether you are going to do drop shipping or store the items. Many things cannot be drop shipped. Friends of mine who are successful typically use a shipper with whom they have a relationship. For instance, a buddy of mine sells printers. He's an IT guy so there is a reason to buy from him. He works on these things all day and knows which ones are reliable. He also has a reliable supplier he's used for years that will drop ship the printers. So he knows they won't make him look bad.
Well the first step would ofcourse be to find your niche. There are thousands of them out there. Maybe you need Niche Blueprint.
fine you can sell web hosting and domain registration online.. as well as bulk sms, voip calling cards and more.. advance wishes..
See things lying around you and start on eBay Approach small traders and try to get their inventory online. Once you feel confident about etailing then go for your own store. Give it some time, learn and experiment!
