Submitting Articles - Is it OK to submit same article?

Is it OK so submit the exact same article to multiple sites? Or is it better to rewrite the articles for each submission?

Will submitting the exact same, word-for-word article, to multiple site have an effect on search engine rankings?

    Thanks for any input,
    Todd

If you submit the same article most of your submissions won't get included in the index. I spin articles before submitting so that I can have multiple pages rank for the same keyword. I know you're just trying to pass on link juice but in low competition niches you can get more than 1 article to rank and bring traffic some times.

Always submit to Ezine first, wait until it's approved, and then submit your re-written article to the rest of the article directories. You can just rewrite it once if you want, it's not a huge deal if you don't.

You can submit your articles to multiple sites. Bukisa allows multiple content. and they pay per thousand views. I jsut checked their index to see what they were paying to add it onto my sig, and at the moment they are paying out $3.42 per thousand views to your articles. The index changes constantly though according to Bukisa's advertising revenue, for a while it was up around $4/1000. I'm making a few bucks change every day extra just from throwing my articles up on Bukisa too, and I don't really do a whole lot of article submission. If you do a whole lot of submission you should be able to get it up to a decent daily earning...

After reading all your suggestion i like to raise a question here..... What if you post your blog article in various forums?? Does this effect the rankings and caching?

I guess, but it you submit two and google things that the better ranking website has the duplicate, then you lose the better rank website.

Basically, spinning means taking the same article and changing some of the words... using synonyms.

I find it easier to just write a new article. Once you get going, you can pound out articles in 10 - 15 minutes that read nicely.

I have done it in the past and google is very smart. The article will get indexed only once in my opinion

Only one article will be indexed...another article will be filtered by google as duplicate content...i think it's better you spin the articles using some software like Power Article Rewriter....

i don't agree, if your using the article as a means to get backlinks you will get more than 1 backlink from only 1 site if you submit ot multiple sites. Generally i find, having used this method myself on my sites, that you get backlinks from the sites you have submitted the article to. Whether they are the same article or not.

Is it "better" to have unique articles? Absolutely. In a perfect world, you would have all content unique to your website. However, it really depends on what you are going for here. If you are simply going for the backlinks at these article directories, I wouldn't be too worried about making them unique. You must realize though that the content will be competing against itself. Most people go to article directories through search engines and you probably won't see much, if any, traffic from the vast majority of locations you would submit the article to.

If i'm purely going for traffic, I would try to make them unique and would only submit them to maybe the three or four article directories that actually receive a legitimate amount of real readers (ezinearticles, goarticles are two that come to mind). Otherwise, I wouldn't waste my time with the others.
