Why blogspot blog slower to get index compare to wordpress.com blog?

I have made many test, I created 10 blogs from blogger and 10 from wordpress.com at the same time. 1 blog from each free hosting provider every test. Do the same thing... on promotion

And I noticed that wordpress blog get index in 24 hours while blogspot blog get index from 7 days or more.

I am not sure if others also experience the same as I experience.... I am wondering why google index slower their own.

 

pages index when google bot come to your site. May be google send bot to blogspot after 7 days.

 

My blogspot blog gets index daily and posts are added in few minutes..

 

is your wordpress a free one or do you have it on your own domain? if you have the wordpress on your own domain then that answers your question.

 

Just like what johngfcarey. Maybe they just have a specific time on when
they are going to let their spidy crawl a certain site.

yes same happen with me i think google have blogspots charge in there on hands because its them service but its not happening with wordpress

dude i think it depends bro, my friend has blogspot and wordpress (self hosted and free hosted at wordpress) that get index in 1 hour.


I know more about other Filipino bloggers out there. Well I see them succesful because of quality post (and they have good friends that can help them.), mostly they post hourly... so their site get index in 1 hour!

Thats their trick... hehehe

my both blogs are indexed with in 5 minutes now, in starting when my blog was now then blogger was indexed in 3-4 days but now its ok

 

Never tried blogspot but with wordpress blogs am doing okay, afterall it's all about the inbound links the site have

 

Google probably has a set time for blogspot to get indexed, like others mentioned. You can social bookmark both a wordpress and a blogspot blog and get them both indexed fast.

That is weird because i have always heard that blogspot blogs are always indexed fast. I guess i was wrong, your stats seem to prove that.

 

you see what I see and I agree that Google Blogspot is a lot more slow then the Wordpress ,I think the reason make that happen because Wordpress is more w3c standard compliant rather then blogspot does

 

I think Both are very important ..............

 

i have good result from both but somehow wordpress going popular so it will get fast index

I am currently using Wordpress as well and I get indexed almost every time I post something new.
