Guys, if one wants to start a site solely for the purpose of making easy money... what would be the best niche to tackle? (Apart from Adult and Gambling niches) Cheers N.B.: advice from people who are actually making decent money in their niche will be very very appreciated
Other than the two you mentioned, making money online never goes out of style. People will always check the internet for other possible streams of income. It could be through affiliate networks or by providing coaching/mentoring to new internet marketers.
Just focus on niches that you're passionate about and build content for that site. Design the website so that it looks nice and professional. Slap some AdSense code on it and focus on building backlinks for your website so that you can rank higher for the keywords that you targeted.
People are unlikely to tell you their most effective niches, because if they did they'd become more competitive.
I suggest you do your research. Whats doing well? Does it have a good landing page? Do you know anything about it or if not, are there alot of resources of information for you to get about it? Why would you buy it, does it solve the problem effectively? Is there anything else you can sell along side of it and push, e.g. in email lists? Is there alot of competition? Can the niche be broken down? Ask yourself the key questions, apply them to each product you find and soon enough you'll find yourself a profitable niche .
Yeah they are definitely two different types of potential ways of making money, but if you have certain personal beleifs against those things definitely not the right choice. I really like SEOTherapy's advice.
The three of the hottest areas to make money online will always be wealth (or make money) health (weight loss, supplements, beauty products etc...) and relationships (dating advice, matchmaking, break-up advice) Now, the Niche is not to be confused with a market. For example, one of niches in relationships could be getting your ex back. It's a subset of a relationship market. Or weight loss dietary supplements would be a niche of the health market and etc...
I agree, a successful niche would lose it's value if suddenly everyone knows about it...I would recomend you to use the Google Adwords Keyword Tool to find your niches...it's all about finding the balance between high # searches and low competition....
For this problem, I am just trial and error because sometimes what we imagine is different on the fact. And also do not forget learning by doing.
I have been into internet marketing and other seo type projects and Ive come to find out its best to make a website about something you love and can continue to write about. thats where youll make the most money as you wont get bored
Honestly there's no good advice. I suggest to not come into "making money online", relationships, adult, gaming, sport, video, funny stuff, celebrity gossips and other popular niches because they are overcrowded. The only way is to find real niche where there's no competitors. I know it's very very hard and you may not find it but if you would, you could make a nice bussiness. Remember that if you are 1st in some bussiness whatever you do you'll have superiority on further competitors (if they'll follow you in your niche). I know many "ugly" sites with low quality content but they were 1st in their niche and they are famous because ppls are connected to them and they have well estabilished position on the market. Other sites which were made after them even if they had better quality content they just left far far behind or just dissapear. Try to find something unique and start there - you'll have big chance to be successed after some time. If you decide on popular niches with many competitors don't repeat their mistakes with fulfilling sites with AdSense and lots of banners - ppls have allergy on it and won't treat serious your "another fast cash site". Find other way to earn from your site and don't base it on Google and CPA networks. Just my 5 cents in this topic.
I'm also not encourage make money niche since even a newbie can create this niche at any time even they know nothing. I'm more focusing on blogging and develop a good and quality site. It take me nearly 3 months to develop this type of blog so it can paid me back with a great amount of money. Easy money never been occurred for a long time. So, passion on making money for a long time is much better than invest your time to short term money making program.
there are plenty of ways to make money.. but really u need to figure out what you are good at.. can you build sites? can u do seo? can do program? if you have no skills, then you need to learn otherwise your doomed before you start
That is the biggest misconception. If there are no competitors, RUN! You shouldn't be afraid of the competition. Competition is the sign of a healthy market with huge money making potential.
