$100 - Header and Logo FAST Contest (Paypal)

I recently purchased a vbulletin skin from someone and it still has their header in the design. I need someone to create a new header and logo for me, that I can use in my version of the design.

The header from the theme that I purchased can be seen here (dimensions I believe are 970x166):

Here are the design aspects that I would like:
- Modern Web 2.0 Design
- Red and White Color Scheme - Similar to the header on felt poker
- Canadian Element - Maple leaf or something that keeps it Canadian
- Poker Element - Something that tells you this is a poker site

I will need both a header (for the site) and logo in .png format (preferably on a white background) to be used for promotional materials.

Contest will run for 72 hours and winner will be paid by paypal.

I will provide feedback as this goes along.

Update: In case I like one person's header but another's logo I will do a split of the prizes at $70 (header) / $30 (logo)

Its not bad for the canadian aspect, but it looks a little childish and i'd rather have a custom created poker chip then just a stock image. Also the different elements of the design don't really blend well with one another.

 

I will be entering this tomorrow.

 

Just for clirification - since you purchased this theme you should know there are two
images to be created to blend well with your site.

The left side - 420px × 166px (logo) | The right side - 550px × 166px (login)

 

Yes I am aware of that. 2 images is probably better as 2 smaller images load faster than one, but I figured they could always be cropped later anyway, right?

I like the header, but instead of having $5 on the poker chips to the right, would you be able to make it a Canadian Leaf or something.

As for the logo, I don't like it at all.

It still looks like there are too many styles going on. Sorry, but I don't really like it.

 

Not bad... would you be able to add ".ca" to POKERFORUM, and put it on the header style with something on the far right?

 

I like the cards, but I don't really like the font you used for Pokerforum.ca and I don't really like the chips you used.

 

Just to give you guys an idea of where I am so far, I like the one by suspy the most. I like the addition of the gold on the far right and color choices he used. Looking forward to the other entries though as I still think there is room for improvement. The more it fits with the new design (see the link to felt poker in the contest breifing) the better. Also, I updated the original post for the logo.. I would prefer to see it on a white background.
