I didn't follow your idea but this is a logo i thought would be cool for this type of thing but I will work on something a little more of what you're looking for.
Okay now I think you should keep everything you have there and then add the orange wings you had in your original version. But even then I'm not 100% for that. Anyone want to try something with a web 2.0 shield? That would be nice.
