Hello everyone. I was wondering where would be a good place I can buy images that I could legally use on my websites. I use Big Stock Photo now but there selection is limited. I need a large assortment of images and also need pics of celebrities. Thanks in advance!
I like http://en.fotolia.com/ have also used http://www.crestock.com/ and http://www.istockphoto.com/index.php Fotolia is cheap and small sizes which i like.
You have many sites there already. You can also try searching in the stock section of deviantART, but remember to ask for permission before.

Have Microsoft Office? Go to Microsoft Office Tools >> Microsoft Office Tools >> Microsoft Clip Organizer from your Start Menu. Be connected to the Internet when you do an image search. Turn off the option to get clip art back, unless you want clip art. They have so much clip art, it makes it hard to find the photos. It's a huge searchable database that is no extra charge. You have fairly open rights to this stock photography by virtue of your purchase of Microsoft Office. No per picture or subscription fees! The main disadvantage is that these photos become common and some of them can get a little over-exposed, especially within a particularly industry. However, I've had the same problem with istock. Just look around a little before you use one of the photos, and you'll be in pretty good shape.
So I can use these photos on my site without risk of being sued? How about editing them within Adobe say and then using them
Considering the celebrity pictures you've mentioned, I think you can safely use the wallpapers and such which are publicly available. Of course you aren't expected to make the Angelina Jollie's face part of your company brand . But that's an extreme example of course.
Like other people said, I believe Istock is a great place to buy images. About celebrities, http://www.splashnews.com/ or http://www.usphotopress.com/
