Ebid.net Online Auction vs Ebay

I've run into this auction site called Ebid.net. I am wondering if anyone has used this auction site before to possibility give me some insight, before I decide to plunge myself into this.

Obviously, Ebay is a lot bigger and can probably drive 10 times the amount of traffic to your product than Ebid.net.

However, Ebay as some of you know are not very nice. They sometimes brush you off and suspend you for no reason, or at least they don't tell you.

And as far as I can see Ebid.net, doesn't have any listing fees. They only charge a Final Value selling fee which is also lower than Ebay's final value fee. Their seller stores and the rest of it is also cheaper.

My main concern as I see it divided into many countries is that whether or not if you live in France, Canada or whatnot. Would you still get the lots of traffic from America or Britain? Like I would imagine, for sellers that can sell internationally, would like to have buyers internationally to be potential traffic as oppose to only people in their own tiny country.

Any info on this or just insight into this would help

    Thanks in Advance

Ebay is a major corporation with international name recognition. I, now anyone I know who markets on ebay have ever gotten suspended. I have to wonder what or how you are using the site if this is a concern.

Ebay has changed the rules over the years, in my opinion for the better of the community. Less sellers there now means I have that many more opportunities, because although many sellers have left, the buys continue to come and are goping to buy regardless.

Smart businesses (This is a business) learn how to adapt to the economy and the marketplace. Now is the time to make yourself a presence on Ebay!

I would only reccomend other sites if you can verify that there is definitely a target audience for your product and Then add that site to your auctions and profit from as many sources as possible!

    Good Luck!

I totally agree with my above post - "Ebay is a major corporation with international name recognition." So my vote will go with Ebay.

There is no doubt that Ebay would probably be the number one choice for anyone, aside from the people who got ban or suspended. But I'm not necessary talking about replacing Ebay with Ebid.net.

Ebid.net could serve as a complementary.

Seems like a popular site, this could be an alternative but I'll wait until it becomes really popular first though
