Hi Just wanted to let you know that recently the forum has been loading extremely slowly for me (in UK on 8mb adsl). Sometimes the pages fail to load at all.
i am a relatively very new member here, in my short span here i have never had the experience, that the forum is maintained well... i mean apart from the content 80% of the time i get broken pages i will have to reload 2-3 times the same page. accepted that the forum is huge.. but have seen giant forums running smoothly with my connection speed . i often get these data base errors too. being a senior member, you are reporting the issue now, so 'm assuming it is a recent development. anyway admin take care plss.
Yeap. Sometimes DP forums loading extremely slowly for me as well as for others too. Maybe due to heavy load (500 members and 1600 guests) rightnow on this forums. DON. Edit: Just checked (550 members and 2900 guests)
I've been around on this forum for several years, and I've never experienced it to be this slow. Granted there has been constant growth, but perhaps this needs to be met with an upgrade in resources. But thanks for your input, dear.
In times of heavy usage, the database becomes slow. The only option right now is for all of us to be patient when that happens.
