Uploas, the rest of the world has YouTube too. Only thing is that they don't let you download videos, and music is much worse quality than original CDs or mp3s.

The "nice" thing with that law proposal was even if you were disconnected from your ISP, you still had to pay the bill. So there's no way the ISP will use that to fight this stupid law.
A good analogy is when you got caught driving drunk: your driving license is suspended but you still have to pay your car insurance.

Are you some kid trying to scare the world with idle gossip? Look into it and dig up some facts.

A drivers license is paid 10 years in advance. Your net connection is paid 30 days in advance. The most an ISP can legally rip you for is 30 days worth unless you are foolish enough to pay more than that in advance.

Once an ISP disconnects you it becomes a Denial Of Service which will then break their contract and no further fees will be payable by you.

Your ISP will be the one to have broken their contract by denying you their service therefore you pay no more ISP fees.

Actually in France, a driver's license is passed once and lasts life-long, so there's nothing to pay.

Well, that part should be taken care of by the decree that will bring the law into action. Officially, they don't want to scare the ISPs with people not paying anything, so the ISPs will be protected against that risk.
So the ISP is out of the loop. You will be the one sentenced, not them, and you'll have to go on paying for a service you're not allowed to use anymore.

This law (Hadopi) won't be approved as it is too much restrictive and totally crazy. You need to install an official filter on your machine to prove your system is safe. This filter should be bought by everyone and will run under Windows only.
Gee, the government itself is using Linux, I guess a big mess is coming
Furthermore your ISP subscription could be terminated upon an administrative decision which is against the EU recommandations telling the access to the Internet is a fundamental right.

    Regards
