Can't believe anyone would buy this .... why would you remove the verification page ? that does no damage or anything - so why remove it ?

That didn't prove a thing ... did anyone here even see it ? You could leave it up - so that everyone could see the proof. If you don't get it ... I don't understand how you can manage a team of workers or this site ...

With your long time activity here - you would realize that saying such things can result in a ban.

That does not mean shit ... you can easily buy accounts on forums and similar sales sites ...

If you were a serious web master - you would be doing all you could to prove ownership and make a sale.

 

To be honest people, firstly, he can't even explain himself. It's obvious from how he writes, that he is crap at writing, sure german maybe, but I can't believe for one second that he is genuine. No one saw that verification file. I know I sure didn't so it was all just pretend. If he has a programmer that does things for him, he may be a moderator or part-owner of the site with no legal value to sell the site. It has happened often enough in the past where people try and sell sites that they do not have a right to sell.

Thirdly, if he is german, then he can sell his site on any german related forum. I am not sure why he would try here. Personally, he probably won't even respond or ever actually state who purchased the site and will make a lame excuse as to why he can't disclose the information. Too many red flags...so it's obvious. If he has money, then he could have sold his site on sitepoint. I mean com'on...what is a few dollars to list it there. Personally, this is just someone to make a quick buck.

Also, people who were interested did see the verification page, and who thinks that this isn´t proof enough, should´t buy the site. I´m waisting more time for people like you, who aren´t even interested in buing the site, than on the serious buyers.

bam we are not attacking you - no - we are not saying you are a scamer or any thing but we know there is many people out there who try to sell websites like yours and they don't have any website at all - we are just trying to protect other people.
if lets say i come to you and tell you i am going to sell you a website and lets its "google.com" and i tell you i promise you its mine - and i work at google so i put a txt file there saying that i am arambo from db and this is exactly what you did - would you pay me 3000$ with out any real proof ?
3000$ is not a little money its alout - so why you did not try and prove that this website was yours - and i am sure if you did you would have sold your website for more than 5000$ .

what else could I do? That´s the best proof I have. And my programmer is the only one who owns the ftp data. We´re not a big business or something like that. People asked me to send an e-mail from the admin mail. But we don´t have pop3 mail, because we don´t need it at all, as we don´t do mail support...

PS to webmasters: It is been nearly 22 years since I wrote my first code and with about 15+ years experience in the field of web-designing & SEO stuff, I can not believe myself that I couldn't raise a website's ranking to be similar to the one in this thread, not even close.
so if the brain behind #1 google Anime-website is the gentleman that can not even upload a text file then I just now feel like NOTHING! sorry to say that, it's really nothing personal...just my feelings. Can anyone give me some words of encouragement?

First of all you can't blame people for being overly inquisitive. We're talking about real money here, and to be honest $3000 is a shitload of money.

Most online payment systems nowadays aren't that secure to deal transactions of this kind. Also, I accept that I saw the verification page, but I don't understand why it was taken down so swiftly, in my opinion it doesn't affect anything if it stays up there for all to see.

Nobody is attacking you, but asking for proof that you do own the site.

Good to see your site got sold, but please remember that most of us though interested are afraid to lose our money or being scammed, because it has happened on the past and I'm sure it will happen on the future. I'm just trying to ask you to be more patient and to not misunderstand things, the fact that you get all defensive makes people wonder things.

in my opinion, you will sale your site much quicker if you accept the following
- reload that text file again just to assure everyone, including the new visitors..
- allow people to bide and post here publicly, like everyone does ...
- accept secure transaction payment to protect yourself and the buyer...

Two dp members with 30+ and 80 itrader points have vouched for him, i don't think this is a scam. In fact, he tried very hard to answer to all of your questions. His english is not perfect, but he tried.
90% of this thread replies are saying that he is a scammer... and should not be trusted. This is the opinion you guys* gave me.
