hi guyzz ! i wanna ask u all whether google is paying low these days due to financial crisis ? replies of all the great webmasters will be appreciated ! thanx in advance 4 replying ! www.Devilslab.com
One word answer: Yes When you sign up with Google Adsense, you do get the luxary of having relevant ads, and a lot of customization and forms of input, but in the end, you pay the price of having Google take 20%-30% of you overall earnings...
Yes and No. yes because some of my clicks last month were not that great as they were less than .50 and now have recently pick up. No because i notice recently that the clicks are coming around the 1.75 to more than 3.00 per clicks. Anyways, it all depends on our niches and the keywords use by the advertisers. But it could probably have some negative effects from the bad economy, but i got used to big G changing the payouts every now and then. Thanks JulieV
I think Google is sort of in the position that they have to pay low because there are a lot of people out there that go to people's websites and click on the ads, just to help out that person. Whether or not they even know that person. Also, out of those people who click, how many of them actually take the offer in the ad? (Not a lot).
My earnings are bit consistent so far which are not that much in number though but generally speaking, Advertisers might have reduced their marketing budget due to this current global recession.
last couple of weeks have been really bad for me....am only getting around $0.1 per click. I hope things improve from here. my feeling is that the problem with not with Google, but with the advertisers. the recession filters down to everyone.
Yes and no, depends on where and gets the clicks, the niche site, I do not think that has any connection with the financial crisis!
Google does not have any problem due to bad economy URL: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/04/09/google_ad_spike/ I don't know why Google is paying low from last 2 months
for the last few weeks or so it sure feels like it. I see I'm not the only one that has notice a bit of a drop
Yes. My page impressions are up, but my revenues are down - includes well established sites and sites two months old. Different formats and updated content. A lot of this is due to the economy and some maybe due to just more websites I am competing with... My off line business has also been severely impacted by the Financial Crisis. Thus, I have cut back on the services I purchase as well as real goods. This includes purchases that I might have made after doing a relevant google search and clicking on someone else's ad. Thus Google and some lucky web publisher is missing out on my small efforts... Multiply that by the millions that have been forced to do the same thing I am doing (cutting back) and it should be expected that many web publisher see a drop in revenue. That does not mean that I haven't gotten the $2.50 click or had good days. But, in general, I am seeing fewer clicks and less revenue per click. (Since October 2008).
this is old news..google is not paying less only the adwords publishers are..this is due to the economy crisis
Well, i hope so... Since one of my blog which generated around 400$ per month is now generating not more than 350$. May be economic crisis is also one of the reason, and the advertisers bidding has come down.
funny that checking my main site.. yesterday..it made $5-$6 out of 30 or so clicks and today it has made 0.96 out of 29 clicks that is 0.03 per click.... my site has never done that before in all the years it has had adsense on it... I tried to find how to email adsense but could not find it any where... I did read that from time to time they work on tweaking their system to make sure all the best related ads show for our sites.. so I hope it will get better.. in the next few days. Does anyone know how to email adsense... so if it is the same in the next few days I can contact them... Thanks Tom
