How long to rise in SERPs -after- google penalty lift?

I received a google PR penalty two weeks ago. I lost 2 whole points. I fixed up something I was indeed doing wrong & submitted a reconsideration request. Over the weekend my site PR came back, but my position in the SERPs is still -50.

Does anyone have any idea how long I'm looking at to get my SERP positions back??? If at all.

Sometimes you never come back. I've heard other people state that 3 or 6 months was their "penalty" for breaking Google's quality guidelines. Basically the way it works is you'll get a manual review when they get around to it. The reviewer will determine if you will be reinstated and if you need a punishment of several months to prove their point. Good luck. I hope they reinstate you.

It doesn't matter at all. I have received penalty too but it's not effecting my search ranking. I have requested reconsideration too and it think, i will retrieve my PR.
    Google bless me soon...!

Well, doesn't the PR reinstatement indicate the review has been done?

Theres no such thing as a PR penalty. I went from PR3 to PR1, its perfectly normal.

Depends on too many things that only google knows about. Best thing to do is forget about it and keep plucking away.

It's hard to be sure if our site's penalty has been lifted. Even increase of PR does not mean that the penalty is lifted.
