Ban Account or Ban Site

    Let's say a webmaster owns several sites using one adsense account. One site has risque subject matter that may be deemed inappropriate for adsense.

    Would/could Google drop the site, or would/could they ban the entire account?

    Not fair. Though seems impossible to me to be the site banned by the system.

    They'll surely ban the account because what would stop you making another similar site, google would then have to go through the whole banning process again. It's easier for them to just ban the account

    actually, they dont just ban the "account", they ban the PERSON.. that person can never sign up for Adsense again! if if they do (and use Mom's name, or cousin Pedro's address) when google finds out.. and they WILL find out.. you get banned again..

    They ban just the site in 99% cases so relax.

    but may be that they ban only that site,

    becaz one of my frnd site get ban from adsense but his acc still working and he got payment 2 times after getting ban for his one of site. :)

    but i think this is only depend on google staff mood. :D

    in my case, the site was banned .... probably because the banned site was not my main earning site

    I had a Adsence account for a long time. I added a site that apparently didn't meet their terms. Only the site was banned, not the entire account.

    It all depends on what the problem is. I had one site that had some issues and they just told me to remove adsense from that site. It was however just some content they didnt like me to have adsense with.

    they banned my entire account for an old freehost site I made when I got into the whole designing hobbie...I totally forgot about it but it had a few warez and what not and they deleted my account and all my earnings for my 5 legit sites I currently run...

    I was able recently to re-activate an account after more than a year - maybe you should try too on your banned accounts...

    it could be both to be banned. if your site is owned by google and use it's own adsense product, 99.9% of chance that your site and adsense account be banned cuz they are alll against it's TOS

    Probably only the site will be banned. Btw, are Indian sites still subjected to a six month probation period before they can display adsense?
