No, you can't. It's against TOS.

No, you cannot put ads on your 404 page. A page without content must not have Ads.

wrong, you can put adsense ads on error pages...

I thought as everybody else that Google Adsense does not allow ads on a 404 error page. I sent an email to Google:

    “Hi xxxx

Yes, ads on 404 pages are fine.

    Sincerely,

    xxxx
    The Google AdSense Team”

    And here is another mail:

You are right but it is just to improve the authenticity of the information. The more feedback you have from different users, the more authentic that information be. But, the last poster proved all of us wrong though ;)

    Afiak,
With the newest Adsense TOS it is allowed, But make it looks at least normal -> Don't flood the page.

    And, eCPM Might be low.

This is the first I've heard of it. Does it say it on the 'program policies' page?

    It still mentions:

LOL I guess you didn't see that coming intelinside :D Linking the information to a certain TOS,rules, tutorials, etc that proves you right makes your answer true, not the quantity of people who share your opinion... :)
