I see in Yahoo SE, my site (A) have higher rank more than other site (B). But Google is unlike this, other site (B) have great rank ( top 10 ) and my site is listed in page 8 ( #83 ).

Google and Yahoo! are different companies....of course the results won't be the same! They weight different on- and off-page factors differently.

Yahoo considers internal SEO factors more so than Google.

Google's Algorithm seems to focus more so on external factors compared to Yahoo.

To increase keyword performance of keywords for goggle, try adding a few quality back links to other websites.

You also may want to consider trading reciprocal links with a few websites and/or reciprocal links with reciprocal link directory websites.

yeah, the two search engines have different algorithms, they don't show same results. Well, if I were you, I'll focus to the big G :) High percentage of organic traffic are coming from it, so don't put too much effort on others.

I agree with the comments above. To get similar rankings on Google you need more links from high quality websites. Google likes quality links from aged domains. To get good rankings across all major search engines you need to do different things to satisfy them all. A website rarely gets top rankings across the board right away.

    Just simple
do following query in google and yahoo, you will come to know WHY its different

    link:sitename.com

Make sure there is no space between, link, : and sitename.com

Google will show you links (Off page links coming from other sitespointing to you)
Yahoo will also show you links (Off page links coming from other sites as well as your internal links)
Yahoo will open site explorer after above query , Now all you have to do is filter in Yahoo external and internal links

I am sure what you will see, Google will show very less or no incoming external links but Yahoo will show many incoming links from external sites

And this is how you come to know why you are lagging

    Now how to improve it
Simple take your competitors site (B) as you mentioned and run the same query in google and yahoo
Now pick up what he is doing good to bring his site up in which search engine
Once your gap is closed and you exceed or match him in links , then you will be ranked above him

    AS SIMPLE AS THAT

As others said, ranking on Yahoo has nothing to do with ranking on Google. Google gives more weight to authority sites especially lately. You need to keep attracting quality links and prove yourself in the field you want to rank for. Website age now plays a very important factor too.

there is so many reasons for that but one of that reason is that google not consider nofollow linksand yahoo consider nofollow links. that's why you can see various in your ranking.

Thats just plain nonsense. Where did you get that from? Yahoo respect the nofollow, just like Google do.

Google always loves unique contents and Valid back links.

Google and Yahoo is different companies but both are in same circle (SE). Optimization process for both the SE is common only so you continue your SEO process for your website. you should give focus on back links and your site content, automatically you will get good SERP in Google.

    Good luck
