Google's Blogger Categories aren't Crawled - Indexed

I have noticed that one major downside when using Blogger has to be the
fact that the categories aren't crawled or indexed by Google.

This means, you're Blogger pages aren't fully being optimized.

Does anyone know of a way to get Blogger Categories crawled and indexed
    by Google?

I'm pretty sure they do since Blogger is owned by Google. Your blog gets pinged every time it gets updated also. Categories don't get crawled (like if you make a blog about cars), the sites themselves get crawled and indexed if you have good SEO techniques.

We can not enable indexing the categories of blogger.
Blogger have disabled it in their system.
The most important thing is we don't have the full control over our blogspot blogs.
also there are many limitations too.
I always saying that google is limiting traffic to blogspot blogs via google search to maintain their bandwidth.

You can edit the templates and use scripts so it can be crawled. Funnily enough, you can read about these things in......Google :D

    No..you are wrong..
Blogger disallows labels to crawl because to avoid duplicate content which is good interms of SEO.

Blogger / Blogspot categories (label) is filtered to avoid redundant crawling your content. Google bots will only crawl your post and archives

At least be able to support your sarcastic claim-based question by telling me the difference between
a Blogger and a Wordpress category and why Wordpress categories can be indexed by
Google with no duplicate content problem and why blogger cannot.

If you can't do that, your comment means absolutely nothing, because honestly,
I can't see what the difference would be.

in Blogger only blogger.com sets the robot.txt and /search was disallowed but in wordpress site admin has the right to configure his own robot.txt setting.

    yeah that's dead correct.
robot file is write by google and it blocks the access to labels.
we can not modify or upload robots.txt

Just open a google web master account behalf of blogspot blog and get known about all these things.

If you don't put nofollow to either categories or tags in wordpress.. more chances that you'll be penalized.
If you want to index the categories... Why not go for Wordpress...?
(Free ones (blogspot) don't have many features like wordpress)
