    Given the sets: A = {5, 10, 15, 20, 25}, B = {3, 6, 9, 12, 15} http://www.omegamath.com/scripts/elementary/Etest/image5818.gif

    First off what is this upside down U, and how do i find the answer lol.
    i have 4 options to answer from here they are.
    A. { }
    B. {3 ,5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 25}
    C. {3, 5, 6 ,9, 10, 12, 15, 25}
    D. {15}

    Anyone know what the answer is :-P because me :confused:

    Never heard of Set Theory?? Upside down U LMAO.....

    The Upside Down U is called Intersection that means-
    x is an element of A ∩ B if and only if

    * x is an element of A and
    * x is an element of B.

    If given the sets are
    A = {5, 10, 15, 20, 25}, B = {3, 6, 9, 12, 15}
    the Answer would be
    A ∩ B = {15}
    Option D

    haha... to tell you the truth... im reall confuse with U and ∩... haha...

    if im not mistaken the symbols above are the universal sign (or something) and the intersection sign... :D
