    Hi Friends,

I am pretty new to CJ, my problem is that almost ALL the advertisers are declining my application:eek:

At first I was applying to some insurance and financial companies and I got declined - I thought okay may be they have a problem with me. So I continued with Ink Cartridges, Online Meetings and other general consumer product sites but DECLINED by all!!!

Guys I need some help here. Can you tell me what can be the reason behind this. May be because I am from India?

Please let me know how to over come this problem.

there are plenty of advertisers that don't require any approval at all. a lot of them are picky though, so make sure you have a decent site at least before applying.

I noticed that the ones who give the bigger % or payments are the ones who are stricter.

What sites are in your profile? When you're starting out, make sure you have a site that matches the advertiser. Once you get a few green bars of network earnings, it is much easier to get accepted.

    Hi Guys,

Yes, I am from India. And I am applying with same site thats in my signature. vlad7 you suggested me to apply for ebay - it was the first advertiser that declined me:D

This thing is tough I think. I am applying through my site http://www.profitfrominternet.com. But I plan to prmote the advertiser through PPC through a landing page on some different domain after I get accepted by the advertiser. But this plan won't work out untill I actually get accepted by the advertisers.

Will contacting the advertisers and saying them about this situation will help?

Many merchants auto-decline by country. Some do it for any non-us country. Most decline China because their is so much affiliate fraud and India is another country that many put on the no list. Not fair really - but lots of merchants do it.

The only way to get around it is if you have lots of targeted traffic for a program and a really good site - you can email the merchant and ask them to re-consider.

    Vipul,

You applied to lead companies (insurance and finance), they are picky. If you don't have bars and you are from India, you have a problem.

If you want to work with Lowermybills.com (we're in CJ), PM me and I'll have one my team email or IM with you about it and see if this is a win-win.

    Cheers,

    Beth

    Hi Vipul,

Most CJ merchants auto decline Indian publishers. Also, some of them don't like money making sites and decline them manually. Your best bet - set up a blog with shopping related info using blogger and publish it on your website. Use that to apply to merchants. Also, start looking out for alternatives to CJ. ShareaSale has quite a few merchants who have no problem with Indian merchants.

Try almost all, but they normally are not liked by Indians too.

Most sellers are rejected by Indians, as well as some reject Indians as well.

Try to stick with sitte oriented buyers.

It will help, though no sale for me using CJ since last 3 months.

    Wish you best of luck.

The reason most sites decline indians is not personal. Please don't be upset. We can't buy traffic that is not likely to convert and people outside of the US don't often buy something online in USD. So the EPC for indian traffic will really hurt an Advertisers overall EPC and reflect badly on their performance.

It's important to be efficient on CJ and sometimes a little more clear. If you are selling US traffic please state that in your publisher profile.
