I opened the GoDaddy newsletter out of curiosity, and one item caught my eye: Go-Daddy Success Story The site is: Denver Sports Blog Alexa rank: 3,937, 758. Not that Alexa is all-important, but I don't see a lot of traffic. Not to cast aspersions on the blogger, but how is this site a success? The story mentions he has ads, but does not refer to revenue. It can't be all that high, imo. How does GD define success? Is this really the best example they have? If the blogger has achieved the blog they want, great. But for GD to use this in marketing adds to my feeling that they are the vanity press of the internet. Anyone see why this site is a success?
If the below stats are even remotely close, Id say Godaddy is pretty much a success http://www.cubestat.com/www.godaddy.com
That's not the point. We all know GoDaddy is huge. But what about this Denver Sports Blog featured in the Go Daddy newsletter? What makes that site, of all hosted by GoDaddy, a "success story"?
Oh I see, i thought you were referring to GoDaddy's Success. Good question... Maybe my company should be the success story. We are hosted by Godaddy, not to mention we were recently featured in USA Today!
