I'm not very comfortable using CGI, I would much prefer PHP.

I don't see any reason to use free newsletter php script.
If you're serious to make $$ off proxy, then use the best such as aweber.
Trust me,it will make you more $$ in long run compare to using the free script.

I don't usually post in here much but, thought I'd warn you guys. Be careful who you deal with on here.

I recently had a deal not go through on a proxy I was selling. Guy who wa supposed to buy it got angry and has been clicking my adsense ads like crazy for the last 5 days. I have removed ads from the site, made the channel inactive, I have also contacted adsense to let them know, gave them the ip of the kid and also the country he resides in.

I fear my account will be banned but I hope not. I've been a member of adsense for 5 years without any problems. I'm not going to post his name but if you're reading this you better hope my account doesn't get suspended. I'm gonna unleash an unstoppable can of worms to destroy your online earning if so.

I have been using phproxy for the last 2 ish years now. I recently tried out glype and it does alot more fancy stuff than phproxy does. Both are free.

Sadly, the phproxy project has ended and its following is pretty slim.
Sadly, the glype project is up for sale but it does have a fairly active forum where members produce plugins for it.

CGIproxy "claims" full javascript support but I have never really tested it and updates are few and far between.

I personally feel that glype has way to many footprints compared to phproxy and i feel this would have to be a major disadvantage when trying to stay unblocked for a little bit longer. As a package though it is pretty nice and themes are every where for it.

And I dont think any of the other projects really deserve to be mentioned, unless there are some new ones I am not aware off?

So I would probably recommend you compare glype and cgiproxy and see how it goes, and if and really only if you dabble in php give phproxy a try.

Actually glype is bought by http://communityseo.com people so seems like it's in good hands. They are going to do a new version (2.0)

It should be interesting to see how this turns out, I assume the old dev will take no part in the new releases? I hope the high standard of code remains which is something else that struck me coming from phproxy.

Looks like who ever bought Glype has future plan for it.
Maybe to study the code more so his product can be better and works.

    Is that his script also?
So far i have see a bunch of paid only scripts by this guy.

Although he says on the glype forum the code will remain free and unencoded, perhaps he will strip glype back to basics and offer everything else as paid plugins! Shit I should have thought of that. Any one know what price it sold for in the end?

Well, I think we should honor his word for now.
As for his script, don't worry too much. It was not designed to prevent user from using your proxy, it just being created to allow webmasters block a proxy from surfing their site. Although I would prefer a plugin which will replace all ad code with my own on a proxy which are surfing on my site. :p

Hey guys, i have had a few proxys, but what features allow you to stand out as a premium proxy? (feel free to list things that cost money etc.) just generally things that make users want to keep using your proxy.
