I really like your site, I didn't experience anytype of page load issues. The sidebar looks fantastic. I think adding a widget, and possibly a google search box for searching your site exclusively would be a nice touch.

this is a very nice site and some of the art is wicked... the site color and the side bar give it a very blog feel which i think is what i think you were going for! over all I think its better then alot of the sites out there

 

That is a cool site. I agree the right hand sidebar is pretty powerful. But it is neat, intuitive and best of all it is different. So sick of seeing the same site layouts. Well done.
